Agentic AI Systems

Agentic AI with a defined goal and controlled actions

Webseek develops agentic AI systems for workflows that need more than a fixed sequence of steps. We begin by defining what the agent may achieve, which tools it may use and where people retain decision authority.

Discuss your agent use case

Establish whether an agent is the right approach

An agent may be useful when the next action depends on changing information and cannot be fully represented by a simple workflow. That flexibility adds evaluation and operating responsibilities.

We assess the task against AI-assisted workflows and process orchestration before selecting the approach.

Define the action boundary

The system specification describes the goal, permitted data, available tools and allowed actions. It also identifies prohibited actions, approval requirements and conditions that require the agent to stop.

Read access and write access have different consequences. Actions that change business records or trigger external effects need explicit permission and an appropriate review or confirmation mechanism.

Evaluate behavior across the whole task

Testing should examine tool selection, incorrect inputs, unavailable systems, ambiguous instructions and unsuccessful attempts. Task completion alone is insufficient if the agent used an inappropriate action along the way.

We define evaluation cases and acceptable behavior with the task owner. Limits on steps, execution time and operating cost help bound the work.

Keep operation inspectable

Activity records should show relevant decisions, tool requests and results so an operator can understand what happened. Logging needs to respect the agreed data boundary.

The operating plan includes escalation, stopping controls and recovery from partial completion. A person remains accountable for the business process and the actions the system is permitted to take.

Questions before you begin

Useful answers before the work starts.

Can the agent act without reviewing every step?

That depends on the action and the agreed risk boundary. Permissions and approval requirements are designed for the specific use case.

Do we need several agents?

Additional agents introduce coordination and evaluation work. The architecture should be justified by the task and operating requirements.

What should we prepare?

Bring a bounded goal, representative inputs, the tools involved and the person who can define acceptable actions and outcomes.

A clear next step

Bring the context. We’ll help find the right route.

Share what is changing, where the current system is getting in the way and what a useful outcome looks like. You do not need a finished specification to begin.
